Avian nesting behavior
Nesting behavior is a fascinating aspect of a birds life, from nest construction, to egg laying and feeding nestlings. While working with Dr. Thomas Martin at Mt. Kinabalu, in Sabah, Borneo, I compiled and narrated these videos from Dr. Martin's long-term research project on the life history and parental care of Bornean birds. Very little was known about the nesting behavior of these birds, and this footage shows some of the incredible things that happen in the life of some of Mt. Kinabalu's most iconic species, including Whitehead's Broadbill, Bornean Stubtail, and Fruithunter.
